Dear Sister in Christ,

Last week, as I was flying home from my sister’s 50th birthday celebration, I noticed something sweet near the back of the plane. Two moms sat just one row apart, each with a baby on her lap. Their little ones kept peeking through the crack between the seats—smiling, reaching for each other, giggling with joy.

Watching them made my heart melt. These two tiny souls, so fresh from heaven, instinctively reached out to connect. Their love and delight in one another was so pure, so natural.

And it made me think… why is it that as adults—especially as women walking through hard things or divine callings—we sometimes forget how to do that? Why do we hesitate to “peek through the crack,” to reach out, to smile, to connect with another woman who might just need a little encouragement?

Sister, maybe you’ve been feeling isolated in your calling. Maybe you’ve wondered, “Does anyone else understand what I’m going through?” Or maybe you’re craving connection with other women who love God and are trying, just like you, to follow His voice.
